Fathers Day

This Fathers Day join us to celebrate Dad’s. This will be a Parade service with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts Rainbows, Brownies and guides all joining in. 10:30am at the Centre, Mawsley. Afterwards take a stroll round the open gardens in Mawsley.

Flower Festival

This week, June 4-6 is the Cransley Flower Festival. You local parish church, Barbq on Saturday evening 6:30. Church for all the family 10:30am Sunday, Cransley Praise.

Next Mawsley Service June 20th, Parade Service, 10:30 @ The Centre.

New Time for service

This Sunday there is a service at Mawsley Centre starting at 10:30am. This is 30 minutes earlier than usually and will be the new time for future services. We will have a service on the third Sunday of each month in Mawsley and there will be other church activities at other times in due course.

Do join us this week when there will be a communion service.

The end of the Four Spires

This Sunday is the last for the Four Spires Benefice. The group of churches in Broughton, Cransley, Loddington, Thorpe Malsor and Mawsley have been ministering for some years together. As of March 4th the church in Loddington and Thorpe Malsor are joining the Parish of Rothwell to form a new Benefice. This leaves Cransley with Mawsley and Broughton working together to serve the spiritual needs of the three villages.

This Sunday at 10:30am there will be a special united service for the Four Spires plus Benefice at Thorpe Malsor. Rev. Catherine Dobson is preaching as Rev Richard Priestley leads the first part of the family Communion service with Rev Brian Withington presiding. Come join us as we celebrate what has been and what will be.

At Mawsley Church we would like to know the views of people who live in Mawsley concerning church. Only a small number of people come to the church services that are held, but I am sure many people have views about church. So to begin with here is two simple questions that we would like you to answer.

1) Do we need a church in Mawsley? Why or why not?

2) What sort of church would you consider joining?
