Major Gerald Peacock retired 3 years ago from full time ministry as a Salvation Army officer (Minister of Religion) after 32 years service in pastoral, missionary, PR, ecumenical and church growth appointments. He and his wife Mildred started an ecumenical bible study group in their front room four years ago, which has grown into the developing Mawsley Church. He currently works part time as a County Ecumenical Officer for the Churches Together organisation.
